Musical Director

David Gould became the Musical Director and Conductor of Hillingdon Chamber Choir in September 2024.

He was an alto choral scholar at St John’s College, Cambridge and a member of Westminster Cathedral choir from 1993 until 1998. He is an experienced consort and choral singer and during his long career, he has appeared with many leading choirs and ensembles. He has sung on over 100 CD recordings with over 30 different groups, including the Hilliard Ensemble, the Cardinall’s Musick, the Tallis Scholars, the King´s Consort, Polyphony and the Sixteen. He is currently a member of the choir of St James’s Spanish Place in Marylebone.

David was formerly conductor of the Stanmore Choral Society and the Amici Chamber Choir.

David also teaches singing from his home in Harrow.
